Summary

I am an explorer with a deep curiosity about the workings of the physical world, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at City University of Hong Kong, expected to graduate in June 2028. My academic training focuses not only on mastering classical and modern physics theories, but also on cultivating a systematic problem-solving ability centered on first principles, combined with rigorous mathematical modeling and empirical analysis.

In terms of technical skills, I have built a multi-dimensional skill system from theory to practice:

Programming and Computational Simulation: I am proficient in using Python and MATLAB as my primary tools for numerical computation, complex system simulation, and data analysis. I also utilize LabVIEW for controlling experimental instruments and building data acquisition systems, and use Microsoft Office for efficient document processing and presentation of results.

Experimental Operation and Engineering Practice: I have a deep understanding of laboratory safety procedures and possess extensive hands-on experience. I can independently or collaboratively use a range of precision instruments, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and vacuum equipment, to design, execute, and debug physical experiments, ensuring reliable data acquisition.

Data Analysis and Insight Extraction: I enjoy the process of uncovering truth from raw data. A complete data processing workflow—including data cleaning, statistical analysis, error analysis, and final numerical simulation and data visualization—is key to transforming observed phenomena into scientific conclusions. I strive for clear and accurate charts to tell the story behind the data.

My background has endowed me with unique communication advantages: as a native speaker of Mandarin and Cantonese, and fluent in English, I can communicate effectively and seamlessly in multilingual, cross-cultural academic or work environments. I am particularly adept at explaining complex professional concepts clearly and understandably to audiences from diverse backgrounds, enabling me to effectively act as a "translator" and "connector" in teamwork.

I firmly believe that excellent scientists or engineers should also be excellent collaborators. I actively seek teamwork, and through past group projects and club activities, I have honed my abilities to listen attentively, clearly define roles, and collaboratively solve problems. I look forward to combining my quantitative analysis skills, experimental skills, and multilingual collaborative strengths in a challenging technical internship.

I am not just looking for an internship, but a practical platform where I can contribute my expertise and apply classroom learning to real-world challenges. I aspire to join a team that values

innovation, rigor, and collaboration, to explore the fascinating journey from fundamental principles to practical applications.
