I am a passionate and reflective English language educator working with learners from very young children to adults. My teaching journey began in 2015, following an earlier career as a translator, and was shaped by a senior position where I led a team in designing the comprehensive English syllabus—an experience that inspired me to pursue a DipTESOL and later join the British Council. Currently serving as an EDB NET teacher and Space Town coordinator, I have designed 2 programmes grounded in data-driven differentiation, backward design, gamification, and UDL principles. My work earned a nomination for the Chief Executive Award for Teaching Excellence. I am deeply committed to holistic, student-centered teaching, fostering growth mindset, reducing language anxiety, and creating supportive environments where every learner can thrive. With a Master's in Linguistics, over 300 hours of professional development, workshop delivery experience, published research, and proficiency in Mandarin, I bring a strong blend of pedagogical expertise, curriculum innovation, and local cultural understanding to any educational setting.
