I have been working as a Registered Nurse in the pediatrics mixed specialty ward and the labour ward of United Christian Hospital since graduated from the Bachelor of Nursing programme in 2021. Throughout the years, I had a pleasant time working with and providing family-centered care to children and their caregivers. I also found contentment in facilitating children to restore health and discharge home as early as possible. Thus, I decided to further enrich and extend my nursing knowledge and skills by engaging myself in post-registration midwifery training program in 2022. During my midwifery training, I recognized my enthusiasm in offering comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum as well as neonatal care to newborns, women and their family members. Hence, I have been engaging myself in the labour ward after completion of the training program to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to offer holistic support to women during their deliveries.
