Hau Yee (Vanessa) Ma

Vanessa Ma is a first-year student at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), pursuing a bachelor's degree in Acting for Musical Theatre. She is a recipient of the prestigious HKAPA Recruitment and Outstanding Scholarship. An alumna of an international school, Vanessa is adept in multiple languages, enabling her to communicate effectively with diverse audiences worldwide.

With over 15 years of rigorous training in violin and vocal performance, she has excelled across genres from classical to jazz, earning top honors in numerous competitions. During her gap year, she gained valuable experience in musical theatre and drama productions while serving as a swimming coach for minorities, demonstrating her commitment to inclusivity and community service. Vanessa aims to further her studies in the U.S. and dreams of performing on Broadway, where she aspires to inspire and uplift audiences globally with her artistic talents.
