I was born and raised in Hong Kong, where I studied until the COVID-19 pandemic began. At that time, my family sent me abroad to continue my education in the United States. As a child, I was introverted and shy, and I was unfortunately diagnosed with autism. However, my parents actively nurtured my ability to communicate with others and encouraged me to participate in outgoing activities. Over time, this helped me strengthen my interpersonal skills—especially in approaching and conversing with people. Additionally, my innate curiosity sharpened my thirst for knowledge and deepened my understanding of the world around me.

At first, tennis was just an obligation—something my parents insisted I try to push me out of my comfort zone. Reluctantly, I picked up the racket, unsure if I’d ever enjoy it. But with every swing, every rally, something unexpected happened: I fell in love with the game. Now, I don’t just play; I train with purpose, analyzing every stroke, refining every movement, chasing perfection not because I have to, but because I want to. Tennis has taught me discipline, resilience, and the joy of turning resistance into passion.
