- Formulated the 3-year bank-wide strateigc plans for 2018-20 & 2021-24
- Conducted analysis on macro environment and competitive landscape, as well as review on the Bank's performance
- Identified growth opportunities, through workshops with business heads and focus groups across businesses and functions for exchange of views
- Articulated strategic focuses and financial aspiration in paper and presentation deck for Boards's approval
- Led strategy implementation tracking
- Prepared implementation tracker with KPIs and progress update on the Bank's strategic initiatives, and coordinated input from businesses and functions on a quarterly basis
- Reviewed businesses and function's updates, identified gaps and challenges and discussed/proposed remediation actions with businesses

Strategic analysis
- Administered Bain's Hang Seng China Business Review
- Worked with Hang Seng China CE & CFO on business performance review and advised on findings and potential growth drivers
- Liaised with Bain on the engagement, including project scope, expected deliverable and timeline
- Reviewed bain's recommendations and advised Hang Seng China on the incorporation & adaption into its strategic plan
- Formulated bank-wide RMB internationisation strategy
- Conducted strategic analysis on RMB business landscape and formulated bank-wide RMBI strategic plan
- Set up tracking mechanism for strategic oversight on cross-BU RMB business performance
- Worked with CE of Hang Seng Investment Management and Hang Seng Bank's Gloabl Market Head to identifiy and capture new RMB business opportunities arising from China policy relaxation (e.g. RMB A-share ETF, RMB structured products and Bond Connect services)
- Acted as trusted advisor to Hang Seng Investment management & Hang Seng Qianhai Fund Management JV
- Conducted strategic analysis on asset management business and advised strategic options on fund distribution model and potential cross-BU collaboration
- Advised Hang Seng Investment Management on business implication from China regulatory development such as Mutual Recognition of Funds (MRF), ETF Connect, GBA development plan and Cross-boundary Wealth Connect
- Acted as one of member in Hang Seng Qianhai Fund Management JV advisory group and advised on corporate development initiatives (e.g. capital injection)
External relationship management
- HKSAR Government, Financial Services and Treasury Bureau (FSTB), Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau (ITIB), Financial Services Development Council (FSDC)
- Supported Chief of Staff industry recommendation for Policy Address and Government Budget consultation sessions
i) Conducted research and analysis on key developments of the banking industry, and proposed themes for policy advocacy/recommendations
ii) Deep dived into the proposed themes and crafted recommendations, e.g. recommendations on ETF and financing for innovation companies for the 2024 Policy Address
