Working as a private tutor for around five years, primarily with secondary school students, has provided me with a wealth of experience that will greatly enhance my role as a teaching assistant. This experience has honed my ability to personalize instruction, allowing me to tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs and styles. I developed effective strategies to explain complex concepts clearly, fostering a deeper understanding and confidence in my students. Additionally, my tutoring experience has strengthened my skills in building rapport with students, creating a supportive environment that encourages open communication and engagement. These qualities will be invaluable in my role, as I strive to support and motivate students in their academic journeys.

My one and a half year of experience as a part-time service ambassador in the arena focused on children has equipped me with valuable skills that will benefit my role as a teaching assistant. Engaging with young audiences taught me how to communicate effectively and adapt my approach to meet diverse needs and learning styles. I regularly explained to children what they should and should not do while playing with the thrifting carts, helping them understand safety and appropriate behavior in a fun context. This experience honed my ability to manage groups and create a positive, inclusive environment that fosters enthusiasm and curiosity. These skills will enable me to cultivate a nurturing classroom atmosphere, encouraging student participation and promoting a love for learning.
