Hobbies

I designed and led the secondary school baking extracurricular activity out of a genuine passion for baking and cooking, with the aim of sharing this interest with students in a fun and meaningful way. The programme was created to give students hands-on experience while developing creativity, teamwork, and practical life skills. I carefully planned each session, selecting engaging and age-appropriate recipes that allowed students to explore different techniques and flavours. I was responsible for ordering all ingredients, preparing detailed lists, and submitting them to the school for approval in line with budgeting and safety requirements. Once approved, I organised the setup by selecting, preparing, and checking all baking equipment before each session. I also ensured a safe and supportive environment throughout the activity, guiding students step by step and encouraging confidence and independence. This ECA reflected my enthusiasm for cooking and baking and provided students with an enjoyable space to learn, experiment, and develop a lasting interest in food preparation
