Shu Heng Alex Ng

I am a registered nurse graduated from HKU in 2019. I have 4 years working experience in Surgical ward and around 2 months cross learning in medical admission ward.

This job required me to work alongside with different healthcare team for example doctors physiotherapists. Effective communication skills is a matter of utmost importance. I also have experience to be an in charge nurse in my surgical ward. I need to ensure smooth operation of the ward and all the other staff is following the guidelines.

I was working in HKU school of Public Health as a research nurse. I am in charge of a study project aiming to clarify the impact of ventilation to the health of old age home residents. My job is to bring the research protocol to real life, including communicating with the old age home staff and recruiting the residents and supervising the research assistant to complete their jobs.
