I am a manager at Wa-ku, a Japanese restaurant in Canada.

Inventory Control and Ordering:

An efficient inventory management system was implemented to eliminate the inventory shortages that occur as sales increase. By creating an at-a-glance list of current inventory and also formulating a minimum necessary inventory list, a system was introduced to place orders before inventory runs out.

Internship

  • I have been interning for about two months every year since 2022 at ICHIYAMA Co., ltd
During my internship, I was involved in many business negotiations at Foodex Japan, an international exhibition held twice a year, in the capacity of a sales representative. The majority of the business partners were foreign participants. In this environment, I actively asked questions in order to understand the differences not only in language but also in culture and business practices, and to accurately and precisely grasp the intentions of the other party. In order to convey the attractiveness of the products, we sensitively sensed the other party's needs and provided appropriate product explanations and information. Through this process, I was able to promote effective business negotiations. Through these experiences, I developed my communication skills and decision-making adaptability.
