Secondary School Philosophy Conference, or SSPC, is the biggest Philosophy conference for middle school philosophy enthusiasts in China. As the conference president, I organized the sixth conference on our school’s campus. I started a guided article writing project led by philosophy professors and PhD students as a new conference programming.

CSC Occurrences is the first club on campus publishing monthly newspapers. By taking the initiative to establish it last year, I made it into a platform for the community members to voice their diverse opinions on various issues, ranging from controversial school events, personal thoughts on inclusiveness, to youth’s impacts on sustainability.

TEDxUWCChangshu organizes the annual TEDx event on campus. As the student leader and the head of the curation department, I reach out to experts to share their life stories and findings in their field with everyone. We led initiatives to foster the connection between our school and the city by allowing people to tour our campus on the event day and understand the values and goals as a community we are pursuing.

With the support of our school’s Economics teacher, we offer Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Foundation courses on campus while helping participants to prepare for competitions like National Economics Challenges and International Economics Olympiad. Adapting the experiential learning and lectures, we teach Economics, Working Ethics, Finance, etc.
