Manage the overall operations of the 3 major plants in Hong Kong. Manage and lead operations, maintenance, and project teams to advance district cooling. Planning the operation strategy and maintenance plan. Forecast HKDC business operation, budgetary, consultation, performance monitoring, and quality management.

• Achieve 100% of the target for contractual energy efficiency with the client.
• Established an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system to manage the Plant operation. An increase of 3% of energy efficiency yearly comparison.

• 100% completion in Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM).
• Award winning for HSE compliances in Hong Kong Chapter.

Lead the company’s business operations, managing and supervising all departments within the company. Lead operation and maintenance, project, budget, and consultation. Ensure the successful completion of a project that is compliant with standards and regulations. Building trust, quality, and performance for the company and divisions.

• Engagement for Co-generation and chilled water plant project management value RM350 million
• Engagement for the Utility/facility building for a civil engineering project worth RM700,000
• Engagement for the operation and maintenance of the building’s chilled water project. Value RM500,000

Served as a member of the top management team along with the CEO, COO, and Senior Managers. Oversees the development and execution of operations & maintenance, projects, management, and budgets, and supervises departments.

Accomplishment and Progress

• Lead Operation and Maintenance department, increase the energy efficiency and achiving 100% PM and CM completion.
• Successfully managed the extension operation and maintenance contract of the Cogeneration Plant, revenue worth MYR 1,450,000 per month.
• Perform analysis for the energy contract. Decrease energy losses, increasing plant efficiency up to 75% and achieving the targeted KPI all years.
• Successfully managed and performed major conversion work, converting the cogeneration plant to a new full electrical district cooling plant. The new facility has the capability to accommodate future customers’ demand for cooling loads at 30,000 tonnes RT.
• Gas tubine Exchage installation and commissoning. Improve energy efficiaency
• Served as ISO45001 lead auditor for the company, managed certification program, and successfully gained certification of ISO45001.

Serving as a member of the Plant Management Team along with the Plant Manager. Working with the plant management team, implement and execute operation strategies, procedures, performance optimization, policies, and practices.

• Successfully perform optimum operation, meet the target KPIs, and lower the energy loss. Impact on improving sales and reducing costs for 5 years.
• Establish an effective operation quality procedure and instruction. It has created an effective result in executing plant operations. Avoiding errors in plant operation.
• Establish policy, planning, and strategy decisions with other departments. The collaboration has strengthened the company’s management system. Increase the quality of overall business operations.
• Establish annual operation planning that includes the target sale of energy, utility cost, equipment planning, etc. It provided a comprehensive overview of plant operations to prevent errors and losses.
• Structured mode of operation, resulting in smooth operation complying with the contract agreement, legal, and performance targets. Non-conformance findings have been rectified and avoided for more than 5 years.
