Projects
DCAR Host cables Project:
Involved design site location: Mainland China, Taiwan China, Mexico, USA.
Led a newly formed project team of both domestic and international members. The project faced initial setbacks with three unsuccessful attempts before my involvement. Within a year, and a quarter ahead of the initially projected schedule, I spearheaded the project to its successful completion. This achievement was notably accomplished despite the significant challenges posed by the COVID19 pandemic and complex geopolitics.
Key accomplishments include navigating remote management hurdles, effectively training, and overseeing our Taiwanese suppliers (contract manufacturers), ensuring a seamless transition to mass production and market introduction.
L12n-SC:
Involved design site location: China, US, France, Japan, Israel.
The first ultrasound probe integrated with magnetic needle tracking function, co-operated, managed, and coached outside magnetic tracking IP owner based in US, introduced this new technology into GE ultrasounds business, led engineering team located in China and US, designed and developed the probe product, successfully transferred into production within 2 years, led to develop the accuracy test system for stable manufacturing yield, ensured extraordinary customer feedback both on quality and performance.
L3-12-D Project
Involved design site location: China, US, Austria, Japan
This project showcased the Chinese team's expertise in acoustic design, receiving highly positive feedback from marketing teams and customers alike. It marked the inception of China's first ultra-wide band probe product line, a significant milestone achieved within a rigorous two ear schedule. The project introduced the first US probe with precision imaging guidance system and set a new benchmark as the 1st locally designed ultrasound probe, demonstrating a significant leap in ECG signal transmission technology.
