• Oversee the operations of three divisions of 50 educators and 300 students.
• Involved in the hiring, training, observing, and writing mid-year and end-of-year evaluation of educators. Spend over 90 minutes per day observing classrooms and conducting cognitive coaching sessions with educators.
• Lead and support two vice heads of division, two deans, ELL department, and SEL counseling department to provide adequate support to our 300 students and their families.

• Supported a number of initiatives, including:
• Developed a middle school advisory program that has continued to expand in its capacity and effectiveness over three years.
• Spent over 90 minutes in teachers' classrooms daily, conducting observations and supporting the head of middle school in conducting yearly teacher evaluations.
• Conducted monthly grade level workshops and presentations middle school parents to provide valuable information and educate them on various school events, student challenges and opportunities, and advice.

Ensured student academic achievement, as well as student mental, emotional, and social well-being:

• Met regularly with the Head of School and the Head of Operations to build, implement, and improve school policies and programs in the founding years of this school.
• Oversaw a number of administrative and academic departments, including 2 deans, 2 guidance counselors, 6 department heads, and the boarding department, comprised of 18 resident hall advisers.
• Built a student boarding program from the ground up, developing policies, activities, duty rosters, and training of resident hall advisers, and continues to oversee the management of all boarding operations.
• Developed, and oversaw the development of a student house and student leadership program, which is used to build community among students and staff in the school.
• Developed and oversaw a meaningful after-school and evening academic and activities program for our boarding students to develop interpersonal, athletic, musical, or academic skills.
• Developed an academic support program to assist struggling students in making academic gains throughout the year.

Oversaw the student body's well-being, including handling and maintaining student discipline issues and records, attendance, scheduling, travel, weekend and evening activities, and dormitory operations; assisted the Head of School in the day-to-day operations of the school.

• Focused on academic administration, classroom management, and academic quality, providing guidance to a staff of over 30 educators.
• Communicated and coordinated closely with all staff to support student success
• Directed and oversaw the planning and implementation of student social, recreational, and curricular programs
• Supported and supervised operations, facilities, residential living-learning communities, room assignments, data management, summer programs, and dormitory safety and security.
  

Assisted seniors in university and visa application processes and in test preparation; have advised over 50 seniors in official capacity over last 5 school years.

• Provided academic counseling and planning services to a diverse student population, including ESL students and students with special needs
• Identified current and potential needs or problem areas for students (e.g., study skills, tutoring, time management, etc.) and refers students to appropriate site resources for assistance

Greatly increased student participation in school's competitive speech and debate team. Participated in fifteen international speech/debate tournaments in Taiwan and China during 2012-2018.

• Worked with students in classes throughout the school day and in after-school program to build public speaking and debate skills
• Designed and conducted recruitment/outreach programs to attract new speech and debate team members.
• Ensured the safety of students by adhering to both team and general school rules and regulations while traveling internationally.
• Had three students qualify for the NSDA national tournament in the 2017/2018 school year.

Experienced middle school and high school instructor in Middle School and High School Language Arts, Literature, Speech/Forensics and TOEFL/SAT/IELTS test prep:

• Developed curriculum, including units of study, reading materials, and tests, for TOEFL/English-Language Arts/Debate classes.
• Served as teacher mentor and teacher leader, playing a role in professional development, teacher orientation and training, and evaluation.

Integrated the school's mission into dorm life through the development and implementation of a dorm curriculum. Involved with training and evaluating resident hall advisors and student leadership.

• Responsible for the well-being of over 150 boarding students on a 24-7 basis, providing pastoral care and academic support
• Organized evening and weekend teacher and dorm parent schedules, implementing and formalizing procedures and policies
• Expanded the boarding student leadership program, including a prefect system and a dorm council meetings, as well as student leadership retreats throughout Taiwan, conducted semi-annually
