- In 2014, the CMI Sweater Division merged with the parent company The Crystal Group; I was asked to relocate from CMI Sweaters based in Hangzhou PRC to Shanghai PRC with the remit of establishing a Sweater Yarn Trims & Knits fabric Sourcing Office from scratch for all brands of the Crystal Group, which I successfully completed within 12 months.
- The office then developed into QC final yarn inspections, suppliers’ factory evaluations, corrective action programs, tee shirt QC & fabric sourcing, and final claim settlements.
- Work closely with our Design teams and PD teams on developments of new qualities for both Knit & Sweater Active wear Loungewear Sweater & Tee Shirt.
- Re-engineering yarns to fit into the price points required by our customers.
- Initiated a Vendor Matrix with the purpose of reducing our supplier base into a more manageable and effective unit in terms of quality, lead-times & cost.
