Manage APAC region that accounts to 45% of the company revenue

Execute sales strategy

• Responsible to the CCO for strategic planning, sales development and growth, product launch, and process implementation in a rapidly changing business arena.
• Manage a successful sales team of 40 members globally to run the APAC business that accounted for 45% of company’s business
• Set up new office and establish a new sales team in Melbourne, nominated as the Responsible Manager under AFS license to ensure the business is complying with the local and global regulatory standards
• Carry out statistical analysis to determine business trend in forex, commodities and stocks trading; design sales KPI per countries and monitor performance on a regular basis.
• Participate and liaise with various internal / external stakeholders for the launch of new products and new business plans
• Regular management meetings with global executives to discuss tactics for revenue growth and retention of customers, market feedback and technology developments

• Responsible for the hiring, training and development of sales and education team across 5 offices
• Set up new branch offices in different cities in China key cities including Shanghai, Chengdu, Nanjing and Guangzhou
• Organize hundreds of seminars and events yearly to cater needs from existing clients, brand building and form new business partnerships
• Closely monitor sales performance among Asia offices, customize business strategies base on regional needs and ensure continuous improvement in sales process

*Consistently maintain as the top sales for 5 years

• Cultivate excellent relationships with new prospects and existing customers, including KYC procedure, customer services and portfolio customization
• Conduct and present in FX, Commodities and Indices related seminars and workshops in different location, including HK, China, Singapore and Australia
• Write commentary and attend live TV interviews for media e.g. The Standard, AAstock, NowTV & various financial magazines
• Mentor junior staffs and establish an analyst team of 10 members
• Set up new branch office in Hong Kong
• Participate in ad hoc projects e.g. System Trading

• Perform data researches through Bloomberg Terminal
• Maintain quality control and ensure consensus in Bloomberg’s database on Earning Estimation of HK listco
• Analyse financial assumptions in research reports released by major banks
• Compare financial figures in annual reports with banks’ researches to ensure accurate information is received before releasing to Bloomberg’s database
• Consolidate static data for management reporting
