My tenure at Muhimbili National Hospital- Mloganzila as a dental intern honed my skills in complex dental procedures and typical day to day clinical duties. An experience that challenged my ability to adapt in a totally new country to me. I had to quickly learn a new language, culture and way of living, while simultaneously demonstrating professionalism and efficiency. I enhanced patient care and office operations, leveraging expertise by rotating in all dental specialties and making ethical decision to achieve significant improvements in oral health outcomes. These newly attained skills will prove beneficiary to any hospital or clinic I find myself working and I can be a very valuable asset.
