Apart of clinical duties as a physiotherapist, to act as team in-charge for the service quality assurance and development in specialty-based, hospital based and coordinate with cluster-based objectives. Duties include:

Physiotherapy Service Development

• Led key initiatives: Post-Critical Care Follow-Up Clinic reform, Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing, and Paediatric Pain Team establishment.
• Standardized PICU/NICU clinical competency assessments.
• Expanded hydrotherapy service scope and contributed to gait service CQI project research.

Service Quality and Resource Management

• Provided physiotherapy services across critical care, hydrotherapy, and gait services to meet departmental objectives.
• Managed PT staff duty allocation, holiday rosters, and service throughput monitoring.
• Planned PT budgets, including procurement and enhancement of the AH wheelchair bank service.

Presentations and Professional Engagements

• Presented physiotherapy services at HKCH Surgical CCTP Program and KCC PT Coordination Meeting.
• Invited speaker at PolyU (physiotherapy in critical care) and TMH (critical care to extended rehabilitation).
• Presenting author at BMJ International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare 2025, Singapore.

Quality and Safety Initiatives

• Organized MHO Train-the-Trainer Program and promotion initiatives with HKCH OSH and KCC MHO Committees.
• Speaker for MHO orientation talks.
• Developed monthly equipment utilization monitoring mechanisms to ensure efficiency.

Clinical Education and Representation Coordinated HA physiotherapy clinical education programs and student attachments.

• Represented HKCH as Paediatric Specialty Group Representative at the COC level.
• PTCOC-nominated representative for the HO Samathrian Fund/Medical Fee Assistance workgroup.

• To provide physiotherapy clinical service in Allied Health Department, Hong Kong Children’s Hospital
• Experience in management of complex cases and concerned case in both In-patient and out-patient setting. Duties include
• a. Acute in-patient units: PICU, NICU, General Paediatrics, Surgical and Cardiac wards.
• b. Out-patient units: Musculoskeletal, Pulmonary and Cardiac care, Surgical Gastrointestinal programme, NMD, Hydrotherapy.
• c. Service in-charge of PICU-surgical unit, providing mentorship and credentialing of junior colleagues in PICU and surgical ward.
• d. PT team representative in collaborative services including: i. PICU Tracheostomy Care Team (Led by PICU) ii. Chronic Pain Multi-Disciplinary Team (Led by Anaesthetist) iii. Thoracic Surgery Service (Led by Surgeon)
• Handling both clinical and operational matters within the service unit - Act as a functional head to provide clinical and on-site supervision to Resident Physiotherapists and Patient Care Assistants.

• To provide physiotherapy clinical service in Adult Out-patient Unit (OPD) and in-patient – Cardiac and Critical Care Team of Physiotherapy Department, Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care strategies.
• 1. Experience in management of complex cases and concerned case in both In-patient and Out-patient setting
• 2. Team in-charge on both clinical and operational matters within the OPD team and in-patient – Cardiac and Critical Care Team

• 3. Provide clinical and on-site supervision to Patient Care Assistants.
