• Maintain and develop large corporate clients and their subsidiaries with coverage of Greater China Multinational conglomerates, SOEs and POEs. Customer industries including real estate, TMT, Textile, etc.
• Assist RM in conducting credit applications by providing financial analyses and building cash flow models to evaluate financial conditions of clients
• Liaised with client, internal departments and external counsels to negotiate and finalize transactions documents
• Coordinated with middle and back offices to ensure that client receive excellent banking services, including cash management, loan drawdown, FX transactions, KYC process, etc
• Supporting whole team RMs for different ad hoc tasks such as case presentation materials preparation, daily customer enquiries, account openings, KYC/ AML related work, documentation, etc

Institutional Banking Group 4 - Institutional Treasury Management GBA Focusing Team

• Exploring new business of corporate clients from Greater Bay Area (GBA) in China and bring it to the bank.
• To follow the bank strategy and the business plans to solicit a substantial deposit portfolio
• To identify our customer needs with sound product / industry knowledge, high quality service and full range of corporate banking services & products so as to increase our product penetration and wallet share
• To collaborate with business partners, particularly GTS (Cash & Trade Services), T&M (including FX and CWM), Insurance Teams, on idea generation, campaign execution and end-to-end performance management
• To take ownership for account compliance and KYC, good knowledge of CDD and coordinate with internal parties for account conduct monitoring
• To work closely with various inter-group parties to capture the maximum opportunity of building relationship with high net worth corporate and intermediary agents

• Managing new account acquisition and providing excellent customer service at Business Centres for commercial clients around the world, in strict compliance with all internal and external KYC regulations and policies
• Increase customer satisfaction through liaising with other teams from HSBC (Eg. Private banking and corporate banking to deliver product and service solutions that meet the needs of the customer.
• Identifying cross selling opportunities and concluding sales on all HSBC products to appropriate business customers principally within the context of Business Centres. Cross selling scope including insurance, mortgage, FX, investment, MPF, etc
• Maximise customer satisfaction through exceptional customer service, providing information about products and services that suit and fulfill customers needs
• Develop relationships with business customers and referrals partners/channels through outreach activities
• Ensures the successful implementation of BB strategies and achieves maximum business contribution to CMB
