  • My current role is very multi-faceted, and includes the following: - Collaborate with principals, leadership teams, inclusion leaders, teachers, and educational support staff across schools to support practice improvement for student success
  • Collaborate with school leadership teams around their School Improvement Plans (SIPs), with a focus on the goals around DEI and inclusion
  • Support school staff to review and modify practices and/or the teaching environment to suit individual student needs - Respond to school requests for support, which involved building my understanding of the student, the environment and the barriers, and providing advice around strategies to support the student
  • Collaborate with ESF Centre teams - Student Support Services, Teaching and Learning, Quality Assurance, Continuing Professional Development
  • Develop and deliver Professional Development sessions that are bespoke to the school needs - Attend world-class Professional Development to allow me to continually reflect upon and improve practice
  • Lead policy review and development - Lead working groups to review foundational practices around supporting students with special needs
  • Active member of the ESF Inclusion Policy working group
  • Facilitating working groups to improve foundational practices in supporting gifted and talented and multi-lingual learners
  • On Dec 2nd, 3rd, 4th 2021 I presented at SENIA (Special Education Network in Asia) Conference with over 2000 participants
  • A colleague and I shared the actions we took from April 2020 - September 2021 as we moved whole school practices from a model of integration to a model of inclusion
