Summary

Strong technical background. Took courses in structure, aerodynamic, control, propulsion, numerical method, orbit mechanics, and system engineering. Beside aerospace related courses, also took courses in data structure, JAVA and Python.

Research and engineering experience. Worked with a team in BUAA to design, build and test Hall thrusters. Undertook the role of chief engineer in iteratively developing 3 different wall-less type Hall thrusters, all fired successfully. Also developed an integrated and automated testing system using lab instruments to perform various types of experiments on electric propulsion devices and plasma source in general. With this thing I can control things like sourcemeter, oscilloscope, displacement platform and displacement sensor through all sorts of interface and have then work in sync. The accuracy of experiments conducted in our lab improved ten-fold. Familiar with the simulation-structural design-manufacturing-testing procedure.

Have been fascinated with Theology and Philosophy since going to a church school for a year-long exchange program. Broad knowledge and deep understanding of those subjects help me to look at lots of matters from a unique yet practical perspective, and remain not obsessed with any particular religious teaching.

Read, think, and write a lot. Got more than 20K upvotes in total in Zhihu, the Chinese adaption of Quora. I love doing in-depth research for something then giving Ted-talk style speech on it, did it multiple times with my friends.

Speak Mandarin and English fluently. Learned basic Japanese from anime and Chatgpt. I'm a fast learner when it comes to language and I believe practice is the key.

Currently a PhD student at BUAA but I'm quitting after wrapping up the project in hand, which would be roughly September 2024. My knowledge in history tells me that the commies ain't gonna pull it over this time so I'm fleeing the country as soon as possible, hopefully before General Secretary Xi starts another GPCR. I wish I can get an engineering job in the free world that allows me to be useful in future potential war effort against Communist China, but I'm also open to any other job opportunities that can get me a work permit and let me put my knowledge and experience into actual use.

Volunteer

OCEF
06.2019 - 07.2019
  • Worked as volunteer to help organize a summer camp lead by OCEF aimed to provide elementary and middle school kids who live in rural area of Gansu, China an opportunity to engage in all sorts of extracurricular activities. This summer camp had about 30 volunteers from all around the world with vastly different background and lasted for about a month.
  • Prepared and taught a course on modern energy industry to kids from elementary school, systematically introduced concepts such as heart engine and electric grid. Also prepared lab session with Sterling engines for kids to get a hand-on experience with heat engines.
  • Home-visit and general advice on academic and career related concerns for several children.
