2019/5 – 2019/11 - Victoria Data Process Framework

Project Description:

Calculation framework is written in Scala for data process on big data platform.

Framework support different data type db2 , csv file , parquet file , hive etc

User only need to configure input data meta-data and provide data process step in flow file.

Framework will parse provided configuration and process data based on spark engine.

Responsibly:

• Worked with tech leader, participated in design , development and testing
• Guide team member and help other team to onboard business logic based on framework to Prod

2017/6 – 2021/4 - GMARRS

Project Description:

System monitor position of security daily in global market, automatically generate filing form report based on each country's regulatory rule.

Project is consist of several components

• ETL component run on big data platform, to pre-process dozens of upstream data
• Offline batch component batch process over10 million position for over 50+ market based on different regulator rules to flow position into different market.
• Calculation component is micro service based, provide real time calculation capability to generate report of security for each market.

Responsibly:

• Participated in complete software development lifecycle, including requirement discussion with user , design, development and testing.
• Participated in critical business migration from legacy to strategic platform.
• Participated in first prototype to onboard calculation to big data platform.
• Participated in DevOps task, write gradle task for code coverage,package etc, automate regression testing for some component.
• Led development for BAU change , guide junior developer
• Contribute common code

2016/4 – 2017/1 - CCAR CVA Reporting Re-engineering

Project Description:

Risk Management, which is request by US Fed. Gov. for each Bank to provide Stress Scenario Testing Result

Responsibility:

Reworked the application to meet individual user demands, participated in complete dev lifecycle, including infra design , development, testing and performance tuning

2012 /7 –2017/5 - CVAA

Project Description:

CVA (Credit Value Adjustment) is the value to represent risk Banking are facing from current to 30 years later.

Responsibility:

• Led development (1-2 developers) to complete enhancement/re-write of critical component
• Responsible for session share and code review
• BAU code change for frontend and backend
