Summary
I am an experienced English teacher with 16 years of experience across schools and education centers in South Africa, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. I began my teaching career in South Africa working with graduate missionaries. I have been based in Hong Kong since 2012 and hold a permanent HKID card.
I am intellectually curious and passionate about adding value through creative lesson planning and delivering fun, engaging learning experiences. I am especially committed to helping children grow not only academically, but also emotionally and socially. My students and colleagues know me as energetic, approachable, and highly involved in making lessons enjoyable and effective.
I naturally incorporate interactive activities into my teaching, because students tend to stay more focused and confident when they genuinely enjoy the learning environment. I am also comfortable using online tools and teaching platforms to support both in-person and blended learning.
I am now excited to join a new, dynamic team of teachers and staff where I can continue to grow and contribute to students’ success.
