• GNSS-IR Station Deployment & Real-Time System Development
• Participated in the full deployment cycle of a new GNSS Interferometric Reflectometry (GNSS-IR) station at Tsim Bei Tsui, from site setup to operational data collection.
• Independently developed a near-real-time automated workflow using gnssrefl and Python/Bash scripting, significantly reducing data latency for water level monitoring and enhancing the station's operational utility.
• Maintaining and enhancing the Ocean Meteorological Forecast System (OMFS), gaining hands-on experience in running, debugging, and optimizing core numerical models (WRF, ROMS, SWAN, WW3) both in standalone and coupled configurations (e.g., COAWST).
• Contributed to the development of the TC-Surge-Analog system, aiding in storm surge analysis, which was successfully deployed on the HKO intranet.
• Developed the OMFS Comparison Tool to streamline model output visualization and inter-comparison, improving team workflow efficiency.

Hong Kong Baptist University Physics Department

• Applied the Elastic Network Model (ENM) to analyze protein dynamics, constructing Kirchhoff matrices to represent molecular structures.

• Developed computational algorithms in MATLAB & Python to assess the impact of individual interactions on global system dynamics and molecular robustness.

• Optimized a high-throughput screening process to identify critical edges, significantly reducing computational time compared to sequential methods.
