I am a distinguished Public Health researcher and academic with extensive teaching and research experience. My dedication to advancing health and wellbeing has earned me numerous awards, including competitive research grants both in the capacities of Principal Investigator and co-investigator. In 2024, I was rated as a top 2% scientist in Public Health, by the Stanford University. Currently, I have four research grants under review with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Fund (New York), Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, City Cancer Challenge Foundation (Switzerland), and the Hong Kong Research Grants Council. I have authored over 200 peer-reviewed articles in reputable international journals, including The Lancet Global Health, The Lancet Public Health, The Lancet eClinicalMedicine, BMJ Global Health, and PLOS One, with over 4,000 citations (h-index 37). I serve as an Editor in Chief for Women’s Health (SAGE Publications Inc.) as well as an Associate Editor for six reputable journals including BMC Public Health, BMC Women’s Health, Journal of Health, Population and Nutrition and Heliyon. My experience includes roles such as Associate Program Director, research consultant, course leader, and public health educator in Ghana, Australia, and Hong Kong.
