BUP Ltd was the buying office for Hans Ulrich Petermann GmbH Germany, largest supplier of small domestic appliances of the Aldi Group

I headed a team of 23 staff with full P&L responsibility and managed the complete operations from sourcing to shipment for a volume of around 100 mio USD

The company was sold to the Wuensche Group and after the handover I decided to take a sabattical after 20 years in HongKong

- watching the market and ensuring factories stay loyal in competing with Aldi HongKong

- managed 20 staff on average, company in general 50 staff incl German headoffice

Main achievement was to remain Aldi's top SDA supplier for around 10 years and keeping the business highly profitable, claim rate low.

Schuette Asia has been one of the largest importers for furniture and various sundries to Aldi Tchibo and Lidl

I was managing the full operations incl full P&L with 30 staff and a turnover of around 40 Mio USD

Sourcing from PRC and Vietnam and opening up new sales channels incl Aldi Australia ex HongKong

- leading the sourcing of various product groups. furniture indoor outdoor for Tchibo Lidl Norma Netto Aldi as well as decoration items and fabric stationary and xmas items for Tchibo

- developing strategies to cope with a reduction of Tchibo business and developing a turnover with Aldi Australia from zero to 10 mio USD with 18 months

GTH was the largest supplier of audio video and small domestic appliances to the Aldi Group and Tchibo. i headed the operations in Shenzhen leading a team of 30 local staff. Full P&L responsibility and heading all operations of a buying office.

Headhunted to Schuette

- shifting the merchandising team from HongKong to Shenzhen and setting up a new office training leading 30 locals. 28 years old at that time

- Tchibo and Aldi main clients. single Tchibo orders were up to 8 Mio Eur at that time
