Delivering Instruction: The primary responsibility of a Biology teacher is to plan and deliver effective lessons that cover the required curriculum. This includes explaining complex biological concepts, conducting experiments, and facilitating class discussions to enhance students' understanding.

Creating Learning Materials: Biology teachers develop and adapt instructional materials such as lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, and laboratory exercises to engage students and cater to their diverse learning needs. They may also incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enhance the learning experience.

Assessing Student Performance: Teachers evaluate and assess student performance through quizzes, tests, projects, and assignments. They provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their understanding and academic achievements.

Providing short-term and long-term cover in the school covering all primary years and secondary science.

Tutoring years 7 -11Biology, Chemistry and Physics

Years 12-13 IB Biology and A level Biology

Working with students from international schools in Hong Kong and mainland China. This involves building bespoke curriculums which reflect the students needs and complements their in school education. Students also receive target focused feedback and assessment. I also have regular Teacher/student/parent conferences to provide constructive feedback on progress and to set termly targets.

Leading PE specialist PYP teacher, teaching grades 1 to 6. Creating an engaging PYP curriculum both during school hours and through an ECA curriculum. Monitoring and tracking student achievement using Manage-back and reporting progress through Student, Parent and teacher conferences. Working with Homeroom teachers to support the students learning within PE lessons.
