Ensuring effective controls and remaining within our risk appetite is critical as we build our presence on Google Cloud Platform. • Development of Data Access Controls Framework: Spearheaded the development of a data access controls framework, collaborating with TDI Data Risk and Control team and Chief Technology Office. Established a risk appetite-based approach to data access controls, including security, ownership, retention, and disposal.
• Compliance and Data Residency: Led the approach to data access and retention, ensuring compliance with business and data residency requirements. Partnered with TDI, CISO, and GDP to design and implement automated and robust controls.
• Integration and Synergies: Worked closely with other tribe squads to integrate synergies across the records and data controls landscape. Championed a Data and Records Ownership culture, providing training and forums for continuous learning.

• Implementation of Controls: Ensured DCR end controls were implemented, such as NTER approval and DSDR demand registration. Delivered a consumer guide on data residency and access, iterating to accommodate changes from CCO and EDS.
• Data Registration and User Experience: Identified and registered CB applications and datasets into the CCO catalogue. Enhanced user experience by proposing auto-approval workflows and integrating regulatory permission checks.
• Strategic Documentation: Created a CB data access controls fact sheet for consumers, updating it with fine-grain access details post-release. Applied a shift-left approach to DCR cases, identifying and addressing metadata issues at the root cause level.

As a key member of Deutsche Bank’s Cloud Product team, I manage a portfolio of products built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), playing an integral role in our long-term partnership with Google. Within the Infrastructure, Architecture, and Cloud (IAC) team, I lead the development of a GCP-based Landing Zone Platform, which is essential to the bank’s IT strategy.
