- Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award 2014-16
During my DofE programme, I acquired valuable experiences, including volunteering as a teaching assistant in our school's ESL language school. I further enhanced my cello skills, having already achieved grade 6 in the ABRSM examination and progressing to a grade 7-8 level by the end of the programme. Physically, I intensified my tennis training as part of my school team and actively prepared for a 5-day, 4-night kayaking expedition in Dorset, which I successfully completed in the summer of 2015.
- Young Enterprise 2014-15
As a pivotal member of my school's YE team, I conceived and implemented a product idea that received our supervisor's approval, led a team of four to oversee its production whilst assisting my peers throughout. I gained insight into business startup processes as we organised stalls at several fairs to raise funds, most notably, one at the Nationwide Headquarters in Swindon. Our collective efforts culminated in our school winning the YE county finals in Cornwall.
